More Than a Painting — A Collaboration
A commissioned artwork is more than something to hang on your wall. It's a piece created for you, with you, and because of you.
Whether it's a portrait of someone you love, a piece that captures a feeling, or a statement work designed for a specific space, I work closely with you to bring your vision to life.
From the first conversation to the final stroke of charcoal, you're part of the journey.
Questions? I've Got Answers.
How long does a commission take?
Most commissions are completed within 3–6 weeks, depending on size and complexity. I'll provide a clear timeline upfront.
What if I don't know exactly what I want?
That's perfectly fine. Part of my role is to help you discover and refine your vision. We'll explore ideas together.
Do I retain the copyright?
You own the physical artwork. I retain the copyright, which simply means I maintain the right to use images of the work for my portfolio and promotion.
What medium do you work in?
I specialize in charcoal on canvas. It's a rich, expressive medium that allows for both delicate detail and bold texture.
Can I see work in progress?
Absolutely. I share progress photos at key stages so you're part of the journey and can offer feedback along the way.
